15 Minutes A Day
Playing online games is meant to be fun. I dont want to spend all
day trading, just so that I can buy an item I want or just pick up some supplies
of runes. But having a supply of an average of 646,071 GP coming in every
single day does
make it fun. It means that I can buy things. I can afford to lose
things. You too can discover how to make money in the game even when you are not logged in! I find trading is fun but making money should
only be a small part of the game.
I remeber before merching, I would spend
hours mining and smithing to make arrows and then sell them, just so that I
could have a bit of spare cash but now I spend a few minutes when I log on and a
few more minutes just before I log off to set up my trades. That's it!
The advantage of my method is that your trades keep going even
when you are not logged in. That means while you are at school, asleep or
playing sport that your game account can still be making GP for you!

No Experience (XP) Required If your character is at the higher levels, there are more opportunities
to make money than when you are starting out, but the advantage of merching is that
you dont need XP to get started.
Of course it's good to have at least one good skill to make money
with but I have found that I can spend less time working and more time playing
by trading as well.

Level Up
Faster
The main advantage of plenty of GP in the game to me is the
ability to level up faster. Recently I wanted to get my herblore
level up fast so that I could do a quest. I simply bought the herb
ingredients off the GX and made the potions and sold them back to the market at
a loss. But if I had to go and get the herbs myself, it would have taken
days of effort. Instead, the constant cash coming in meant that I could
afford to buy the best for my current level and level up much faster.

Some People Say It's Not Possible
to Make 1M GP A Day ...
One guy emailed me and said "I don't believe it's possible to make 1M GP a day - it
must be a scam". I have 16 free videos on Youtube (search on GlenTheGoalsGuy).
Seriously just take a
look at all of my videos - take fundamental trading for example. I lay out 5 x 17M GP trades. My goal is to make 850,000 GP
on each of the 5 trades over 2-3 days. Of course when you start out with 1M GP, dont expect to pull in 1MGP
a day - it wont happen!
Even the older videos, like how I made 10MGP by trading glories
- it was 6-8 weeks to go from 1M to 10M but most of the money was made in the
last week!
I'm sure that you have heard the expression 'it takes money to
make money': that's true. It also takes skill and a certain mindset and
character to make your money make more money. That's what I aim to share
with you.
What About The Recent Rule Changes on The Grand Exchange?
Game manufacturers are continually updating their trading rules to try and
keep it fair for all players and in particular to minimize attempts at market
manipulation. In any market, the market makers will try and keep it as
fair as practical and I support Jagex's rule changes to try and keep it fair
for all even if this means that traders earn a bit less each day. Everyone
should get a chance to enjoy the thrill of trading. I don't know if you
will be able to make 1M GP per day but the art of trading is a great skill to
master and it will serve you well in future.

I had always thought e-books told the buyer what to do. Glen's was different.
It gives tips instead of instructions. I like that because that way people will
still have to work and find the right thing to invest in. Someone once said,
"Shall I give a hungry man fish or teach him how to fish?"
Oh wait that's Glen :P.
Teaching people how to earn their money in RS is better than telling
them what to do. That way they will learn something in the real world.

I just read your book, I was initially going to read a couple of chapters, but ended up reading the whole thing!
Good read, I like how you make analogies between the Real World and Runescape. Also it's great how you use actual user comments and questions to give advice to the reader on the fundamentals of profitable trade.
Overall it's a fantastic book on how to trade smart.

Well I was a skeptic but I must say
Glen's book isn't the usual guides you would find on ebay or one of the various sites that sell them.
Glen's guide is more of a stock market explanation, you teach the player how to make money in the grand exchange but don't give specific items,
you make the player put the effort out to find what will make them a profit instead of making one item overly popular to merchant,
moreless Glen's guide will be good for a lot longer then the usual run of the mill runescape guides.
Glen's writing style is simple and very easy to understand, Glen puts in good examples and answer questions that are running through the players head while their reading his book.
Glen also teaches the players to understand the various charts inside of the Grand Exchange and how they can make money quickly even with the simplest of materials. This book also establishes the risks that are assoaicated with trading and also sets up safeties so you don't drive yourself to economic suicide.
